Corrections
The purpose of a corrections committee is to coordinate the work of individual A.A. members and groups who are interested in carrying the message of recovery to alcoholics behind the walls, and to set up means of smoothing the way from the facility to the larger A.A. community through prerelease contacts. – A.A. Guidelines on Corrections Committees
Correctional Facilities work is a great way for all AAs to practice their 12th step. Even if you are not eligible or able to bring meetings into jails and prisons at this time, you can help us pave the way for alcoholics on the 'inside' to connect with the AA message while incarcerated and upon release.
The District 3B Correctional Facilities Committee meets virtually on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. To join, please contact correctional@district3b.org.
